Start by creating a new document of dimension 10x10px with transparent
background. Select the Elliptical Marquee Tool (M) and draw a circle of dimension 7x7 px.
Select the Gradient Tool (G) from the Tool bar. Click on the edit Gradient to open the Gradient Editor. Set the color from transparent
to # 4d4c4e and click OK.
Select the Radial Gradient from the gradient options. Drag the cursor as shown in the
image below:
Select Edit > Define Pattern... in the box give the name for your pattern
and click OK. Close the document.
Open a new Document of dimensions 300x300px with white background. Select the
Elliptical Marquee Tool (M) and draw a circle of diameter 150px.
Select the Gradient Tool (G) from the Tool bar. Click on the edit Gradient to open the Gradient Editor. Set the color from #ffffff to
# 333334 to # 4d4c4e to #ffffff and click OK.
Select the Radial Gradient from the gradient options. Drag the cursor as shown in the
image below:
Press Shift + F5, from the box select the pattern you have created and click
OK.
Select Filter > Distort > Spherize.. From the window select the Amount
to 100% and the mode to normal. Click Ok.
Press Ctrl + Shift + I to inverse the selection. Click Select > Modify
> Expand. In the box type Expand by ‘2' px. Click OK and then Press Del. Name
the layer as Ball.
Set the foreground color to #0e9a3a and draw a Star using the Pen tool . Name the layer as Star.
To create the 3D effect for Star, set the foreground color to #2b2d2f using
pen tool create a shape as shown in the image below. Position this
layer below the Star Layer.
Similarly create shapes as shown in the images below and see to that these
new layers are positioned below the Star layer.
Set the foreground color to #7fbfdb. Using Pen tool draw an arc as shown in the image below. Name the layer as
arc1. Position this layer below the Ball layer.
Right click on the arc1 layer and select Duplicate Layer. Press Ctrl + T and
rotate the new layer and position it as shown in the image below. Press enter
twice. Set the foreground color to # 0078c9 and press Alt + Backspace to fill
the color.
Right click on the arc2 layer and select Duplicate Layer. Press Ctrl + T and
rotate the new layer and position it as shown in the image below. Press enter
twice. Set the foreground color to # 36acdf and press Alt + Backspace to fill
the color.
Now that we have created the logo, next we will type some name for the
company. Select the Text Tool and in the text options select the font family as Sprint SF
(You can use any font of your choice), set the font size as 48pt and the color
as # 36ade0. Type the word ‘Star'.
Change the font color in the text options bar to #248e04 and type the word
‘Club'.
